On a recent trip to Hawaii where they participated in 70th anniversary ceremonies marking the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Princeton High School (PHS) Studio band met veteran Allen Bodenlos (in front of band). Commissioned the night before the attack on Pearl Harbor to start a dance band, Mr. Bodenlos said that he was the original “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B.” The band, of course, played the song for him.
