New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was among the first to congratulate Princeton incoming President, Christopher L. Eisgruber, on Sunday, April 21, after the announcement of his appointment. Mr. Eisgruber will become the University’s 20th president on July 1. He replaces Shirley M. Tilghman, who is retiring after 12 years of service.
