In July 1866, five years before Marcel Proust was born, the Flemington Neshanock Baseball Club played its first game. Revived in 2001 to make up for lost time, the Neshanock took the field recently at Greenway meadows park to play some vintage baseball with the Diamond State Club of Delaware.
