Former Member of Planning Board, Longtime Resident Endorses Sue Nemeth and Bernie Miller
To the Editor:
As we enter the second year of the new Princeton it is more important than ever that we have Council members who have a demonstrated track record of leadership and performance. Sue and Bernie worked for consolidation that has led to a reduction in the municipal tax rate. They recognized that our aging community pool could not be sustained and led the fight against those who said that our community did not need a pool, with the result being a new, successful Community Pool in a beautiful park. Sue and Bernie have been strong advocates for the preservation of open space, and as elected officials they provided the leadership that resulted in the preservation of a green belt on the Princeton Ridge.
Our new Princeton will face many crucial decisions in the coming years. It is important that we have proven leaders like Sue and Bernie who will work with their colleagues and our professional staff to find the solutions that will work for all of our residents.
As a former elected official and member of the Planning Board, and a long time resident of Princeton, I am pleased to support Bernie Miller and Sue Nemeth for endorsement for Princeton Council by the Princeton Community Democratic Organization.
