With PCDO Event Looming, Bernie Miller Is Stellar Candidate in the Group of Three

To the Editor,

The PCDO-sponsored event at which residents of Princeton will have an opportunity to hear all the candidates for the open Town Council positions give presentations about their qualifications, expertise, experience, and positions on key issues will take place next Sunday, March 30. A representative of the League of Women Voters will moderate the session, while registered Democrats, who also have paid dues to join the PCDO, will have their voices heard in a straw vote that will result in the endorsement of the PDCO for up to two persons. Regardless of whether one is registered as a Democrat, Independent, or Republican,  attendance at this event will help townspeople become more informed to cast their vote in the municipal primary election in June.

Over the past few weeks, readers of this newspaper have seen numerous letters of support for the incumbents, Jo Butler and Bernie Miller, as well as for Sue Nemeth, no stranger to contributing to the governance of our town. I’d now like to add my voice, as well.

The candidate who stands out in this group of three is so stellar that there is no need to bash any of the other candidates. Bernie Miller is a reasoned, committed, long-time public servant whose competence, compassion and citizenship gives me great confidence in my vote to see him return to the Town Council to represent all residents of Princeton.
