Volunteers invited by the Princeton Battlefield Society and the Central New Jersey chapter of the Sierra Club turned out in force to remove invasive species such as bamboo from the Princeton Battlefield on Saturday, March 22. Besides bamboo, they removed dead wood knocked down in recent storms and vines from around the foundations.
