To the Editor:

I write to express my whole-hearted support for Bernie Miller and Sue Nemeth for Princeton Council.

I have worked with both of these outstanding candidates while they were members of the Princeton Township Committee. Bernie and I both served on the Consolidation Study Commission, which ultimately recommended that the two Princetons merge into the one town that we are lucky enough to live in today. Bernie showed extraordinary leadership as a member of the Commission. I watched him and learned so much from him about how to work hard to try to do the right thing for the community you are serving. It was and is evident to me that Bernie has the intelligence, judgment, and experience we need from a member of the consolidated Princeton’s Council.

In 2009 and 2010 Sue Nemeth was the Township Committee liaison to the Housing Board on which I have served for several years. I saw first-hand Sue’s dedication to the people of Princeton and her smarts when it came to making good decisions. She is someone who thinks through an issue, looks at all sides and then uses good judgment to move forward. It was an honor to serve with her on the Housing Board.

These two leaders are the right people for Princeton Council. Please join me in voting for them on June 3.
