To the Editor:

Bravo Jean Stratton for her superb profile of Dr. Steven Felton (Princeton Personality, Town Topics, August 6) in which she covers his amazing background that began as a baby during the horrors of the Holocaust and then as a survivor thanks to his extraordinary mother — a “miracle child” indeed. From the profile we also learn how Dr. Felton was also able to navigate successfully through many educational and medical hoops to his being a founder of the Princeton Eye Group and how his childhood in Poland is indelibly imprinted on all his successes. Thanks to Jean Stratton, we now know we are doubly fortunate that Steven Felton is our ophthalmologist.
