The Art of Fashion

Art Fashion 2

Charles Sheeler’s 1928 photographic portrait “Madame Lassen Seated in an Armchair,” won’t be on display at the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown until 2017, but it will be worth the wait to see the exhibition “Charles Sheeler: Fashion, Photography, and Sculptural Form.” The museum has just received a grant of $300,000 from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage to mount the exhibition.
