“Road to Roma” will be the topic of a lecture by architect and automobile enthusiast Lawrence Tarantino at Dorothea’s House on Sunday, November 6, at 5 p.m.

Those attending can follow the Mille Miglia, an Italian vintage road rally, as Mr. Tarantino takes the audience on an illustrated tour of Italy’s beautiful cities, villages, and countryside along the route. Having attended the event multiple times as spectator, journalist, photographer, and participant, Mr. Tarantino will explain the history of the race and display memorabilia.

Dorothea’s House is located at 120 John Street. The lecture is free and open to the public. Doors open at 4:45 p.m. Seating is limited and programs frequently fill to capacity. Participants are encouraged to bring refreshments to share at the reception following the program.
