Tribute to Women Honorees Announced by Princeton YWCA
Nine women who embody the YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women will be inducted into its list of honorees. The event will take place March 9 at the Hyatt Regency Princeton.
The fundraising evening celebrates the achievements of women from the greater Princeton area who have made significant contributions to their professions, communities, educational institutions, or organizations, and whose accomplishments reflect the YWCA’s mission.
This year’s honorees are Ana I. Berdecia of the John S. Watson Institute for Public Policy; Kate Germond of Centurion; Lorraine Holcombe of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce; Heather Howard of Princeton University; Jane Milrod, ADHD Coach with Jane Milrod and Associates LLC; Elizabeth “Betsy” Ryan of the New Jersey Hospital Association; and Paula Troy of RWK Consulting LLC. Judy Klitgaard will receive the Waxwood Lifetime Achievement Award, and Pamela Hughes will be given the CommUnity Award.
Former honorees Karen Jezierny and Jigna Rao are co-chairs of the event. Honorees are nominated by colleagues and peers and evaluated by a selection committee of past honorees, community members, and YWCA staff and board.
