The play tells the tale of a retired man named Kris Kringle, played by Paul Cottone of Yardley, Pa., who begins a job working as Santa for Macy’s. Kris unleashes waves of good will with Macy’s customers by referring parents to other stores to find the exact toy their child has asked for.

But Kris falls into trouble with Macy’s vocational counselor, played by Ann D’Silva of Newtown, Pa., who sees him as deluded and dangerous. Kris finds himself in a court competency hearing, and one little girl’s belief in Santa is at stake.
