Live Chamber Music Coming to Morven

BRASS ON THE GRASS: The PSO Brass Quintet is among the chamber music groups performing at Morven during May as part of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra’s chamber music series, on the Pool House lawn May 27.

Princeton Symphony Orchestra presents a series of chamber music concerts on Thursdays in May at 6 p.m., on the grounds of Morven Museum and Garden on Stockton Street.

The series begins May 6 with PSO Strings, on the lawn of the Education Center. On May 13, “Boyd Meets Girl” features guitarist Rupert Boyd and cellist Laura Metcalf, on the Pool House lawn.

The May 20 concert is by the Momenta Quartet and is titled “Great Music from the Recent and Distant Past.” The final program on May 27 features the PSO Brass Quintet in “America the Beautiful” with works by American composers, in advance of Memorial Day weekend.
