The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) and Princeton Shopping Center have announced that work is complete on a new mural at 301 North Harrison Street. Titled and inspired by the universal language of LOVE, the new work is located on the parking lot-facing façade of the Shopping Center between Bella Boutique and Shanghai Park.
In the spring of 2021, the Arts Council of Princeton and the Princeton Shopping Center announced a new partnership that would produce a series of three murals designed in collaboration with a team of ACP artists. In June, the Bring on the Joy mural was completed on the interior courtyard wall between Princeton Mattress and Smith’s ACE Hardware.
“Public art helps bring the transformative power of art to the forefront of our daily lives,” said ACP Executive Director Adam Welch. “With this 36-plus year partnership with the Princeton Shopping Center, we are able to work together to channel art’s potential with messages of ‘joy’ and ‘love’ to the entire community each and every day. It seems that there is little that would be more meaningful or needed.”
