“CONNECTED”: An exhibit of works by Elaina R. Phillips, whose watercolor painting of the Princeton High School tower hangs at the school, will be on display at Gourgaud Gallery in Cranbury January 15 through January 26.

The Cranbury Arts Council invites the public to visit the Gourgaud Gallery in Cranbury January 15 through January 26 to see “Connected,” an exhibit by Elaina R. Phillips. 

Phillips is a 2021 recipient of the Cranbury Arts Council Scholarship and is currently a student at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers. Her work has been on display in three exhibitions at the Arts Council of Princeton and juried art shows in Monroe. 

She has been commissioned to paint residential and public properties in Cranbury and Princeton. She has also worked with a local business to provide mockups and ideas for custom graphics. On display will be a sampling of her work in various media including watercolor, line art, and photography.

Phillips, a resident of Cranbury, attended Cranbury School and two of her paintings are on display in the Cranbury School art gallery. Her watercolor painting of the Princeton High School tower hangs in their main office. 

In conjunction with the Gourgaud Gallery during the month of January, 20 percent of art sales from Phillips’ show will go to Cranbury Arts Council to support its programs that support the arts in the community. Sales will be accepted through Phillips’ Etsy store at etsy.com/shop/ElainaRPhillips.

The gallery is located in Town Hall, 23-A North Main Street, in Cranbury and is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit cranburyartscouncil.org.
