New Jersey First Lady Mary Pat Christie recently announced the fourth annual “Heart of a Hero” scholarship program, a resource to help members of the military make higher education and career goals a reality. Last year’s recipients are shown here with Ms. Christie. Ten $5,000 scholarships are to be awarded in time for the coming school year, and the applications are due by Friday, July 31 at 5 p.m.
