Joyce Carol Oates Discusses New Memoir At Labyrinth Books, Oct. 27
Author Joyce Carol Oates returns to Labyrinth Books of Princeton on Tuesday, October 27 at 6 p.m. in celebration of the publication of her new memoir, The Lost Landscape: A Writer’s Coming of Age. This event is free to attend and open to the public.
In The Lost Landscape, Oates vividly recalls her upbringing in Western New York state, recounting memories of her family, childhood, and friendship with a red hen.
Oates is Distinguished Professor of the Humanities and Creative Writing at Princeton University. She is the recipient of the National Medal of Humanities, the National Book Critics Circle Ivan Sandrof Lifetime Achievement Award, the National Book Award, and the PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in Short Fiction. She has also been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.
Labyrinth Books is located at 122 Nassau Street.
