Artisans to Exhibit Work at Arts & Crafts Show
ARTS & CRAFTS SPRING SHOW: Craftsmanship is displayed at the 2023 Arts & Crafts Show, presented by the Montgomery Arts Council. This year’s show is on May 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Regional artisans will have their talents on display when the Arts & Crafts Spring Show returns May 18 and 19. Presented by the Montgomery Arts Council, this year’s indoor event spotlights local community talent in woodwork, textiles, glass, ceramics, fine arts and more.
“We are excited to provide a platform to these prodigiously talented creatives for our Arts & Crafts Spring Show,” said Montgomery Township Mayor Neena Singh. “We will continue taking every opportunity to support local artisans, while presenting our residents with some of the most talented work in the region.”
Now in its fourth year as a subcommittee of the Montgomery Economic Development Commission, the Montgomery Arts Council has been hosting events spotlighting the community of local and regional artists since the council’s first gallery in 2021. The Arts & Crafts Show, and Return to Art in the fall, are the council’s two main events that showcase the professional caliber of artistic talent found throughout the Montgomery area.
“The council’s goal is to present the wealth of high-level creativity in Montgomery, and that is exactly what this event does,” said Montgomery Arts Council Chair Karen Tuveson. “Not only will it allow our residents to enjoy incredible works of craftsmanship, but it also serves as a terrific opportunity for participating artisans to showcase their abilities in front of a wider audience.”
The Arts & Crafts Spring Show will be held at 1060 State Road (Route 206), by the airport, on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday May 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit montgomerynj.gov.
