Princeton YMCA campers are helping to reduce single use plastic bag use in Princeton this week, as part of “Hometown Hero Week.” Working with Sustainable Princeton’s BYOBag campaign, Hoagie Haven, and JaZams, campers are providing 100 decorated, reusable cloth bags to the BYOBag campaign, which encourages the Princeton community to bring their own shopping bags and help save 1 million single use plastic bags from landfills by June, 2012.
