The Princeton Township Police Department is “in urgent need of responsible individuals with an interest in the Princeton Community,” to become school crossing guards. Guards are paid $30 per hour. On July 9, 2011 at 5:02 p.m. the Princeton Township Police Department responded to a medical emergency incident for a six-year-old child, at the front entrance of the Community Park Swimming Pool Complex. On the scene was a “Good Samaritan” doctor, who rendered medical assistance to the child. To date, the Princeton Township Police Department has not been able to identify this person, and they would like to be contacted by this doctor, as well as anyone with knowledge of the incident. Governor Chris Christie recently recommended the appointment of Princeton resident Linda Sipprelle to the Princeton Borough Housing Authority. The Governor’s nominations are subject to the advice and consent of the State Senate.
