The Spirit of Princeton invites the community to the 13th annual Independence Day Fireworks on Friday, July 1, at 9 p.m. in the fields next to the Princeton University Stadium, along Western Way. The site opens at 7 p.m. for picnics and socializing with friends and family.
The fireworks will take place rain or shine; only lightning will cancel the show. No alcoholic beverages are allowed at the site and smoking is prohibited. Parking is available in Lot 21. For further information, check www.spiritofprinceton.org.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has awarded a grant of $100,000 to support the Homelessness Prevention and Workforce Development initiatives of the Crisis Ministry of Princeton and Trenton.
