The Princeton Area League of Women Voters will participate in the New Jersey Leagues statewide voter registration drive on Saturday, September 20, by registering voters and handing out applications for absentee ballots at several locations, including McCaffreys, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Nassau Street, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and at the Farmers Markets in West Windsor and Montgomery from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The League will also join the Princeton Public Library and Princeton Youth Project at the librarys Rock the Vote event on Friday, September 19, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Hinds Plaza. The Princeton Community Democratic Organization (PCDO) will hold a general membership meeting on Sunday, September 21, at the Suzanne Patterson Center, behind Borough Hall. From 7 to 7:30 p.m. attendees can sign up to volunteer at PCDO headquarters, meet with Obama organizers, make a small donation, and pick up a button or bumper sticker. The PCDO reports that there is still time to RSVP for the Caroline Kennedy Reception-Fundraiser for Barack Obama on Friday, September 19, with a Host and Sponsor Reception ($2,300) from 6 to 6:30 p.m., and General Reception ($1,000 and $500) from 6 to 8 p.m., at the home of Lisa Fischetti and Ralph Lerner, 176 Parkside Drive, Princeton.
