Mercer County Veteran Services is conducting its annual donation drive to help veterans and their families enjoy a hot holiday meal. The Countys goal this year is $6,000. Rather than collecting donations of food, monetary donations that go toward the purchase of food vouchers veterans can use to purchase holiday meals are being accepted. Donations may be made payable to Mercer County Trust Fund, and mailed to the Mercer County Division of Veteran Services, 2280 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, N.J. 08619. For additional information, call (609) 989-6120. Veterans wishing to know whether or not they are eligible to receive a food voucher can call James Gordon at the Trenton Vet Center at (609) 882-5744.
