A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues
I will support it. I only started living in Princeton a week ago so I haven’t really had time to get up on the tax issue but on principle I am favorably disposed toward supporting the budget. Alastair Binnie, Governors Lane |
I probably will not support it. Our taxes are already relatively high and this makes the town less attractive especially for the resale value on homes. Charles Staloff, Linden Lane |
I think the district has made a good effort to keep the budget within a reasonable increase since the budget was voted down last year. Everything is going up and it is tough. Princeton is an expensive town to live in but education is important. Laura Goldfeld, Montadale Drive |
Yes. I am very supportive of the school system and 3.32 percent is about the inflation rate at the moment so it doesn’t seem to be out of line with the increases in salaries and other costs. Ira Fuchs with Laura and Pepi, Puritan Court |
No. I don’t support it because I think that like everything else in this economy, the district and the schools have to tighten their belts and I don’t think that the taxpayers should be asked to pay any more. Marcia Hendler, Ridgeview Circle |
