Avani Ramesh Vora
of Princeton, a physical therapy student at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and Sanju Chaudhary of Lawrenceville, a doctor of pharmacy student, have been named to the University's spring 2003 Dean¹s List.

Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a C and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken during the semester.

University of the Sciences in Philadelphia is a private, coeducational institution founded in 1821 as Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, the first college of pharmacy in North America.

Navy Midshipman Richard H. Pyfrom, son of Rick and Sheila Pyfrom of West Windsor, was recently inducted into the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., where he began six weeks of Plebe Summer at the academy.

The orientation program begins four years of preparation for commissioning as a Naval or Marine Corps officer. During Plebe Summer, Mr. Pyfrom will learn basic skills in seamanship, navigation, infantry drill, sailing and marksmanship. At the end of the summer, he will be ready to join the rest of the brigade when the academic year gets underway this fall.

The Fellow grade is conferred upon a member with at least 10 years of active engineering practice who has made significant contributions to the field. Mr. Simmons earned his masters in business administration in finance from Ohio State University.

Garrick Leenhouts of Princeton, the son of Mark and RaeAnn Leenhouts, will attend Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass., this fall. He is a graduate of Princeton High School.
