A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week: What is your current job and what is your dream job?

"My current job is president of U.S. business operations for a Canadian architectural design firm. My dream job ... I would like to work for a cooking magazine. I used to work in publishing in New York for a long time and my husband is a chef. That would be a fascinating job – traveling to exotic countries, sampling the food, learning about the cuisine."

– Marie Galastro, Princeton-Kingston Road

"I'm a retired New Jersey school teacher. Before I left high school, I dreamed of teaching and living overseas. I waited almost forty years to do it, and then I did it. I just got back from two years teaching in Guadalajara, Mexico, and I'm looking for work right now. I hope to find a teaching position ... best job in the world."

– Hugh Goodheart, Sayre Drive

"I'm enlisting into the Army. You've got benefits, 401K, dental plan, training, education. I want to go there so I can have a college education for architecture. I've designed some homes, and was learning blueprints off a machine. When I saw the World Trade Center, I wanted to be the one who designed [the new plans]."

– Nicole Stigliano, Franklin Terrace

"I'm doing my dream job, which is to be a storyteller. But it takes some time to get it off the ground, so I'm working on that. I do programs for kids, for the libraries and schools. Right now there are set schools where I go to work regularly, but I'd like to increase the number of places where I do that."

– Tara McGowan, Chicopee Drive
