WOVEN INTO THE EXHIBIT: This piece is one of several handwoven textiles by local weaver Armando Sosa that will be on display at the Highland Studios annual three-day holiday exhibit and sale at 14 Mercer Street in Hopewell. Mr. Sosa's work combines Central American motifs and a contemporary sense of color, textures, and design. The exhibit will run from Friday, December 5 through Sunday, December 7. The exhibit will open with a reception for the public from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5.

THORNS AND PETALS: This Karen McLean combined photograph and painting will be part of her display at the Highland Studios annual three-day holiday exhibit and sale at 14 Mercer Street in Hopewell. Ms. McLean's work will be based on her photographic series in Arizona of such objects as tree trunks and cacti. The exhibit will run from Friday, December 5 through Sunday, December 7.
