Carroll-Ratliff. Hattie Elizabeth Carroll, daughter of Mary Carroll of Sullivans Island and Robert and Cathy Carroll of Goose Creek, S.C., to Daniel A. Ratliff, son of Dr. Henry Ratliff and Heide Ratliff of Princeton. The ceremony took place on the beach at Island of Palms, S.C., and was officiated by the Rev. Peter A. Mitchell, an Episcopal priest of Holy Cross, the bride's home parish in Sullivans Island. The bride, a graduate of the Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, S.C., received a degree in psychology at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va., and a masters degree in counseling from Seton Hall University in South Orange. She is employed as director of supportive living at the ARC of Middlesex County and is currently pursuing continued graduate studies at Rider University. The groom is a graduate of the Princeton Waldorf School, the Green Meadow Waldorf High School in Chestnut Ridge, N.Y., and Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va. He is a first year student in the School of Osteopathic Medicine at the UMDNJ Camden Campus. The bride's sister, Margaret C. Carroll, served as maid of honor; the groom's brother, Thomas H. Ratliff of Boulder, Colo., was the best man. The couple lives in Mount Laurel. Engagements
Strumpen-Darrie - Raglan. Michael and Ann Strumpen-Darrie of Princeton announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine, to Daniel Raglan, son of Christopher and Ewa Raglan of Wimbledon, England. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Columbia Law School. She is a corporate lawyer with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. The prospective bridegroom graduated from Oxford University and Columbia Law School. He is a corporate lawyer with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. A June wedding is planned in New York City, where the couple will reside.
