The Princeton Regional Health Department will be holding a public H1N1 clinic on Saturday, February 20 at the John Witherspoon Middle School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the cafeteria (entrance off Guyot Avenue). The clinic will be open to any individual ages six months and up and no appointment is necessary. Consent forms are available at www.princetonboro.org, www.princetontwp.org and www.princetonhealthoffice.org.

Stony Brook Garden Club invites local high school seniors to apply for its Giorgio and Elly Petronio-SBGC Environmental Award, a $1,000 prize given annually to a student who has demonstrated his or her dedication to preserving the natural environment. The next meeting of the Princeton Community Democratic Organization will be on Sunday, February 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Suzanne Patterson Center. The program (“Where Do We Go From Here?”) will include an evening of dialogue with local representatives to state and federal legislative offices.

Princeton Professor Melissa Harris-Lacewell, a familiar commentator on Rachel Maddow and the Countdown with Keith Olbermann, will speak at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton on Sunday, February 21, at 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-N.J.) has announced that members of his constituent services staff will be at the Mercer County Connection, 957 Highway 33 at Paxson Avenue in Hamilton, on Tuesday, February 23, and Tuesday, March 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. They will help local residents with questions concerning federal agencies such as Social Security, the Internal Revenue Service, Immigration, Veterans Affairs, and Medicare. Informational brochures on identity theft, consumer information, purchasing life insurance, Social Security, fighting fraud, food safety, and other issues will also be available.
