IT’S ALL HAPPENING … AT THE Y: Philadelphia Zoo educator Samantha Schwab recently showed a box turtle named “Dot” to children at the YWCA Princeton’s Child Care Center at Valley Road School. The “Zoo on Wheels” visit was sponsored by the ROCKETS (Raising Our Children’s Knowledge by Educating Through Science) program of the Junior League of Greater Princeton. The Child Care Center is a nursery school and day care facility, with special emphasis on developing English-language skills. Most of the children receive scholarship assistance. “Lincoln Republican” Steele Considers State of America at University Discussion

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele and Princeton University Professor Eddie Glaude sat down together Monday for a public conversation on campus. Hosted by the Center for African American Studies, of which Mr. Glaude is the chair, the event sparked a lively debate that touched on Mr. Steele’s biography and inequality in America.
