The
Princeton Area chapter of Mothers & More will meet
on Thursday, February 5, at 7:30 p.m. to hear a presentation by
Dr. Nino Badridze on infant cognitive and language development.
Dr. Badridze is a research fellow at the Infancy Studies Laboratory
at Rutgers University.
Mothers & More
is an international not-for-profit organization supporting mothers
who have altered their career paths in order to care for their
children at home. The Princeton chapter holds regular meetings
on the first and third Thursdays of each month. It also hosts
Mom & Tot outings, playgroups, Mom's night out events,
family events, and a book club.

The Hightstown Woman's Club will
host a Dollhouse and Miniatures Show and Sale on Saturday, February
28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church
Hall in Hightstown. Admission is $4 for adults, $1.50 for children
under 12.

The Piano Teachers Forum, an
organization of professional piano teachers that meets in Pennington
the first Friday of every month, will meet on February 6 for a
program by Betty Handelman Stoloff, adjunct associate professor
at Westminster Choir College, titled "Schubert The
Road to the Sonatas."
Ms. Stoloff holds
a B.M.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.A. from Columbia
University. She gives workshops and lectures on various aspects
of piano pedagogy, and maintains a private piano studio.
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and conversation;
the program will begin at 10 a.m. Guests are welcome for a $10
fee at the door.

The
Astrological Society of Princeton will meet at Educational
Testing Service's Conant Hall on Sunday, February 1 at 2:30 p.m.
Shirley Soffer, an author and practicing astrologer from New York
City, will speak about "The Sun's Progression on the Road
of Life."
A social hour will follow the lecture.
