Roy D. Gobel
Roy D. Gobel, 71, died June 24th at his home in Kingston.
Born in Irvington N.J., he lived in Kingston for the last 32 years.
He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Carrol J. Gobel; two sons, Roy D. Gobel, Jr. of Hillburn, N.Y., and Gunnar D. Gobel of East Windsor, N.J.; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Stanley Gobel of Manhattan, Kan., and Dale Gobel of Seneca, S.C.
Interment was at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, N.J.

Florence M. O'Donnell
Florence Marguerite (Burke) O'Donnell, 80, died June 28 at Merwick Rehab Hospital and Nursing Care Facility in Princeton.
Born in Princeton, she was a lifelong resident of Kingston. She was a member of the Princeton High School Class of 1942 and graduated from Rider College.
She was employed by Princeton University for 30 years until her retirement in 1987. She was also a founding member of the Princeton University Travel Club and was a life member of the Kingston Volunteer Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary for 50 years.
She enjoyed laughter, dancing, traveling, camping, reading, and gardening, but most of all, she treasured the times with her loving family and many friends.
She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia Burke of Princeton. She is also predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, William Joseph O'Donnell, and her sister, Barbara Grant.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen O'Donnell Hunt of Front Royal, Virginia, Sharon O'Donnell Hansen of Pennington, and Marguerite Billie O'Donnell, also of Pennington; one son, William Michael O'Donnell of Hamilton Square; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grand-children.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on July 1 at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church.
Samuel Leonard Pettit
Samuel Leonard Pettit, 77, died June 4 at his home in Cokesbury Village, Hockes-sin, Dela.
Born in New York in 1928, he grew up in Princeton and attended Princeton Country Day School. He then graduated from South Kent School in Connecticut. and New York University.
During the Korean Conflict, he served as first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. In 1963, he moved with his family to Wilmington, Dela. from their home in Princeton, and started his career at Wilmington Trust Company as a trust officer.
He was one of the first people in Delaware to receive the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and served as the society's president. He was a member of the Wilmington Country Club, the Lincoln Club and was elected to membership into the Society of Colonial Wars in 1982.
His passions were spending time with his beloved late wife, Sally, and their three children, sports, travel and the stock market.
Predeceased by his wife Sally Bayer Mathey, he is survived by a son, James Dravo Pettit; two daughters, Sandra Pettit Durgin and Helen "Mimi" Pettit, all of Wilmington; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Walter and Bill, of Princeton; and two sisters, Mary Funk and Barbara Finch, also of Princeton.
