Ann Waldron, 85, of Princeton, died July 2 of heart failure.
Born in Birmingham, Ala., she attended the University of Alabama where she edited the college newspaper.
Ms. Waldron worked as a feature writer at the Atlanta Constitution and later wrote a weekly column that ran in several Florida newspapers. After moving to Houston, Texas, she served as the book editor of the Houston Chronicle.
Ms. Waldron wrote four nonfiction books about art for children, six novels for young people, as well as books for adults.
A longtime lover of mysteries, Ms. Waldron published “The Princeton Murders,” a popular series of books featuring a newspaperwoman who solves killings on the Ivy League campus.
She enjoyed jogging and swimming and had a passion for dinner parties and travel.
The wife of the late Martin Waldron, she is survived by her four children, Peter Waldron, Lolly O’Brien, Tom Waldron, and Martin Waldron; eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Saturday July 17 at 2 p.m. at Nassau Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Crisis Ministry of Princeton and Trenton, 61 Nassau Street.
Peter Vernon Roberts Jr., 73, of Hopewell, died June 30 surrounded by his wife and two daughters.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he lived his early years in Pelham, N.Y. He later spent 33 years in Hopewell.
Mr. Roberts attended Bucknell University and graduated from New York University. He joined the firm of Adam’s & Peck and later worked for the firm of Janney Montgomery Scott.
Mr. Roberts loved his family, the game of golf, and the stock market. He was also an enthusiastic sports fan and an avid reader.
The son of Alice Roberts, he is survived by his wife, Evelyn Roberts; his siblings, Jane, Barbara, Susan, and Robert; his children, Laura TeKrony, Heather Nissly, and Peter Roberts III; and five grandchildren.
A celebration of his life is planned for 11 a.m. on July 9 at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington. A luncheon at the Bedens Brook Club will follow.

Juanita O. Green, 66, of Princeton, died June 26.
Born in St. George, Barbados, she spent most of her life in Princeton.
Ms. Green was employed by Princeton University for over 30 years.
She was a member and deaconess at the First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Missionary Society, Altar Guild, Choir, and the Willing Workers.
Daughter of the late Gladys and Eric Green, and sister of the late Barbara Green, she is survived by five sisters, Edith Smith, Agnelle Green, Dilese Chandler, Dorothy Knight, and Erene Croney; two brothers, Owen and Victor Green; her son, Jared Green; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service was held July 6 at First Baptist Church and the Paul Robeson Place, Princeton. Interment was in the Ewing Cemetery.
Hedl D. Roulette, 82, of Princeton, died June 29.
Born Miriam Hedwig Dresdner, she attended Miss Fine’s School, Elmira College, and the University of Pennsylvania.
She worked in the Public Relations Department of Princeton University. A self-taught artist, she started the design firms, Décor by Hedl and Hedl of Yuletree.
Ms. Roulette was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Junior League, and the Present Day Club.
She was listed in the Who’s Who of American Women for her works in print media.
Ms. Roulette loved to travel, play golf, and bridge.
The daughter of the late Karl and Miriam Dresdner, she is survived by her son, W. Brooke Roulette; her daughter, Karla Rauch; her brother, K. Philip Dresdner Sr.; and two grandsons.
A memorial visitation will be held July 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mather Hodge Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Art Department of Princeton Day School.
Thomas Albert Forehand, 52, died on April 24 after a long battle with cancer. He attended schools in the Princeton area and worked in several area businesses. He is survived by his parents, Emma and Garlie Forehand, his brothers Mike and Joe, and his sister, Karen Michael.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on July 11 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton at 50 Cherry Hill Road.
Donald R. Goodfellow, 82, of Princeton, died June 28 in the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Scranton, Pa., he resided in Princeton for most of his life.
Mr. Goodfellow graduated from Alfred University in 1949. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran and the Vice President of S.G. Frantz Company in Trenton.
Mr. Goodfellow was also an avid golfer.
The son of the late Herbert and Mildred Goodfellow, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Goodfellow; and a brother, William H. Goodfellow.
The funeral services in Princeton Cemetery will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home.
