Jana Purkis-Brash, who was appointed Senior Pastor of the United Methodist Church on July 1, is the first woman to occupy that position in the history of the church in Princeton. Former Princeton Township mayor and current co-chair of the United Methodist Church Council Michelle Tuck-Ponder remarked, “we are very pleased that Jana is here and we’re looking forward to the new beginning.”
“History is best experienced by those who can touch it, feel it, and live it,” said Representative Rush Holt (D-12) during Thursday’s hearing held by the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands.
Stuart Nachbar described his new (and first) book, The Sex Ed Chronicles (iUniverse $16.95), as a “fun story, especially for a Presidential election year.”
