Question of the Week: "What are your views on amending the Constitution to make same sex marriage illegal?"
"For personal religious reasons and for reasons of law, I believe they should be banned. I understand and respect peoples' personal preferences in their own home, and I don't think its anyone's business what goes on in their home; but when it comes time to a marriage, I think it is a sacred institution and should be treated that way."

"Absolutely not. It is part of the founding principles of this nation that people should be able to do what they want to do as long as it makes them happy and it does not affect other citizens in a negative fashion. Same sex marriages abide by that principle and for that reason, I do not think there should be a Constitutional amendment barring that practice."
