U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-12) and Undersecretary of Education Martha Kanter will host a town hall meeting for students and faculty of Mercer County Community College (MCCC) on Wednesday, May 18, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the MCCC Conference Center Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public, and is intended to provide students and faculty with an opportunity to voice their views on higher education policy.

A panel discussion entitled Racism and the Global Struggle for Peace and Justice will be presented on Saturday, May 21, from 2 to 4 p.m, at the First Baptist Church, 30 Green Street (at the corner of Paul Robeson Place and John Street) in Princeton. The panel, which is free and open to the public, is part of the YWCA’s annual Stand Against Racism Program, that kicked off on April 29. Panel presenters will include First Baptist Church Pastor, The Rev. Carlton Branscomb; Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund Executive Director Maria (Charo) Juega; Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) Executive Director, The Rev.
