Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“How would you rate the quality of biking in Princeton and what is your favorite bike route?”

“I love to ride around the residential areas of Princeton; they are so beautiful. I also like to ride along the canal. The quality of biking is quite good.”

Tom Hopkins, Princeton

“I think the quality of biking is actually pretty good. I don’t really have a favorite route. I bike every where.”

Amiyr Harris, Princeton

“The biking in Princeton is good because there is lots of space. My favorite route is riding on the tow path.”

Sophie Mann-Shafir, Princeton

“My wife and I like to bike around Princeton. One of our favorite rides is to bike to Pennington for lunch. My favorite road is Bayberry Road on our route to Pennington. The roads are somewhat bicycle friendly but the infrastructure could use some attention.”

Mike Suber, Princeton

Gloria: “I think the quality of the bike routes in the area is all right, except they are narrow and not very safe. My favorite place to go bike riding is in the woods around Mountain Lakes.”

Olivia: “I like to ride along the canal. It is a safe and fun place to ride, and the tow path has gravel which makes it a challenge and great exercise. I wish there were more bike paths on the roads, so you could get around the Princeton area better.”
