Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“What is your opinion of Riverside School and the Princeton Public School system in general?
(Asked at Riverside School’s 50th anniversary celebration.)

“My daughter started here in kindergarten and we have been ‘blown away.’ We love Riverside. As far as the school system in general, there seem to be very concerned teachers who care very much for the students.”

— Maryellen Branovio with son, Remmick

“Riverside is a really a great school and community. The people are very sweet, and there are great programs.”

— Robert Finnegan, with wife, Jennifer Geoghan and Fiona Finnegan

“They have many activities, and many ways to learn how to communicate and develop social skills. As to the system in general, I think it’s very good.”

— Jing Li with Jing Jing

“Riverside School is great. My kids just love it. The school system is really good. I know that the kids think that the middle school is a little scary, but it’s not as they think.”

— Carolina Sirpas

“I think it’s fabulous here. We are new to Princeton, and we love it. The school is fantastic. I think that the school system is one of the very best.”

— Anne Klein with Lauren

Kate: “We love the school, it’s kind of laid-back in a nice way. As far as the schools in general, they are great — we feel so fortunate for our kids to be here.” Joe: “The teachers are some of the best. The environment is terrific for the kids and an event like this is a great example of interfacing with the community.”

— Kate and Joe Naggar with Ellie and Arnold
