Weddings and Engagements


Weddings


Alicia Roldan and Richard Pickett

Roldan-Pickett. Alicia Roldan, daughter of Aldo and Debbi Roldan, to Richard Pickett, son of Richard and Jane Pickett. The Wedding took place on September 25, 2010 at The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, N.J.

The bride is a graduate of Princeton High School and The University of California Berkley.

Mr. Pickett is a graduate of Princeton High School and Princeton University. He is a talented graphic designer.

The couple resides in Oakland, Calif.


Catherine Rothenberg and Alexander Wei

Rothenberg-Wei. Catherine Anne Rothenberg, daughter of Anne and James Rothenberg of Pasadena, Calif., to Alexander T. Wei, son of Theodora and Fong Wei, M.D. of Princeton. Fran Norris Scoble officiated at the July 18, 2009 ceremony at Montecito Country Club.

The bride graduated from Vassar College and is currently an English teacher at the Westridge School in Pasadena, Calif.

Mr. Wei graduated from Vassar College and is currently an Art Director for feature films and commercials.

There were three Ladies of Honor and three Best Men. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

After a wedding trip to South Africa, the couple now resides in Los Angeles, Calif.

Engagements


Jennifer Sferra and Michael C. Kopliner IV

Sferra-Kopliner. Jennifer Sferra, daughter of Lydia Osborne and Joseph Sferra of Pennington, to Michael C. Kopliner IV, son of Susan Delaney of Jeffersonville, Pa., and Michael C. Kopliner III of Ewing, N.J.

Ms. Sferra is a graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School and Mercer County Community College. She is a teacher’s aide at the University League Nursery School in Princeton.

Mr. Kopliner graduated from Notre Dame High School, attended Mercer County Community College, and received a degree from Pennco Tech. He is assistant manager at Sid Harvey Industries, Inc. in Ewing, N.J.

The wedding will take place in the fall of 2011.
