“What are some of your favorite fall foods?”

 

Ray: “Apple pie.”

Jackie: “Thanksgiving turkey and all the goodies that go with it.”

“Anything in the pumpkin and potato family. Basically, comfort foods or anything that is long in the pot and warm in my stomach. Caramelized onion dishes. I like local fresh foods without preservatives.”

“Vegetables that are ripe in the fall; Brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, and yams. I like to make pumpkin soup once a year because we have so many different pumpkins available now. I like to make apple and pumpkin pie. Fresh apples and plums from the Trenton Farmer’s market are the best in the fall.”
