Bonnie Brooks and Stephen Maiden
Brooks-Maiden. Bonnie Virginia Brooks of Hickory, N.C., the daughter of Jim and Kayo Bolton and David Brooks of Hickory, to Stephen Ewing Maiden of Charlotte, N.C., the son of Jeff and Linda Maiden of Princeton, on June 11. The Rev. Dr. Millie Snyder and the bride's cousin, Rev. Alan Wright, officiated at the service at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. A reception followed at the Westin Hotel.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by Tricia Hervey Tran, matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Cecily Bolton and Kathryn Bolton; the bride's cousin, Tracy Brooks Hunter; the groom's sister, Elizabeth Maiden Jorgenson; and Allison Bumgardner, Amanda Page Lanier, Emily Mullinix, Allison Ferrentino, and Angela Helms.
The groom's brother, Jeffrey Alexander Maiden of Roanoke, Va. was best man. Groomsmen were the bride's brother Thomas Brooks, Laurence Bag, Jay Lambiotte. Curt Lemkau, Christian Nugent, Adam Rendon, Frederick Wang, Alexander Wolf, and Michael Yavelberg.
The bride is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in business management. She works at Wachovia Securities in Charlotte.
The bridegroom graduated cum laude from The Lawrenceville School, Duke University, and earned an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He is a financial analyst with Mangan & McColl Partners in Charlotte.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. They reside in Charlotte.
