Reminder: The Borough and the Township are advising employees and patrons of nearby businesses that as a result of the pool construction that began on Tuesday, September 6, the Witherspoon Street municipal parking lot will be restricted for municipal business only, and unauthorized vehicles will be ticketed.

The New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus (NJGMC) will be holding auditions on September 6 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Nassau Presbyterian Church at 61 Nassau Street. The Township’s Shade Tree Commission will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, September 8, at 9 a.m. in Room A at the Municipal Complex.

There will be a flea market at 237 North Harrison Street, next to the Princeton Shopping Center, on Saturday, September 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 24 tables will be selling (rain or shine) furniture, jewelry, kitchenware, sporting goods, clothes, collectables, linens, art, toys, books, and more to support the First Aid Squad.

The League of Women Voters will hold its annual statewide voter registration drive on Saturday, September 10. Voters may register, report address changes, or pick up an application to vote by mail ballot at one of four locations: McCaffrey’s in the Princeton Shopping Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Montgomery Farmer’s Market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Kingston Community Picnic at the Laurel Avenue School from 3 to 7 p.m.; or the West Windsor Farmer’s Market from 10 a.m. until noon.

The Jewish Center is holding a blood drive in memory of those who died as a result of 9/11, on Sunday, September 11, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Center is located at 435 Nassau Street. To make an appointment write to marsha.novick@gmail.com. All donors will receive a 9/11 remembrance pin.
