Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“What are a few of your favorite activities at Communiversity?”

"We enjoy very much just walking around and seeing all of the enthusiastic people and the great variety of things from food to items to aid the community and it is a unique experience.”

Richard Bergman, Leabrook Lane

“So far, the music, the vendors, the food, the people. It is like one big family today and everyone is brought together by the event.”

Melvin Ford and Kayla, Ewing

“Eating! We’ve seen all of our friends and we are going to throw some pies now.”

Mindy Tumpowsky, Maidenhead Road

“One of the great things about Communiversity is that no matter where one stands on Nassau Street there is something interesting going on. From right here we can see Opera New Jersey, which is doing extraordinary work and next to them is Housing Initiatives of Princeton, an organization that I am particularly interested in. I suppose that the fact that these two diverse groups are coinciding with each other says a lot about this community. We tend not to think that there are people here that need some help with interim housing but there are.”

Paul Muldoon, Princeton University

“The music, the dance, the booths, the food. Being a resident, I like everything.”

Ann Walker, Quarry Streett
