Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart has announced the election of five new trustees: early childhood educator Christine D. Berk; Margaret Patricia Schorr, a Sacred Heart school alumna and former head of lower school at Stuart Country Day School; Carrie Anne Vinch, an environmental project manager for Ryder System, Inc.; Ruth M. Williams, a former faculty member and director of the pre-school at Stuart Country Day School; and Patrick R. Young, the President for Small Group and Middle Markets for the Mid-Atlantic region of Aetna.

Einstein’s Alley, a private, non-profit economic development initiative for central New Jersey, recently announced the addition of four new members to its Board of Trustees. They include Karen A. Jezierny, Princeton University’s Director of Public Affairs, who is responsible for the development and implementation of Princeton’s state government relations; Douglas W. Schoenberger, vice president, Public Affairs for Verizon New Jersey, whose his responsibilities include developing and advocating Verizon’s positions to New Jersey’s state government on technology and broadband policy issues; Marguerite L. Mount, managing director of The Mercadien Group and a principal in Mercadien, Certified Public Accountants; and Richard C. Woodbridge, a patent attorney at Synnestvedt and Lechner, and a long time supporter of New Jersey’s high tech activities. Einstein’s Alley’s goal is to attract, build and retain technology-based businesses in the central New Jersey region. Its efforts include municipal signs designating the high tech corridor at key locations; the Einstein’s Alley Vet Career Connect job program for returning veterans; and ongoing discussions with higher education institutions and collaborations with area groups such as PlanSmartNJ.
