Nilli
Singhvi and Matthew Jaworovich
Singhvi-Jaworovich. Nilli Singhvi, daughter of Sampat and Usha Singhvi of Princeton, to Matthew Jaworovich, son of Fredrick Jaworovich of Raleigh, N.C. and Christine Mathisen of Brookside.
The Rev. Mark McGrath and Minister Jay Sethi performed a combination of Christian and Hindu ceremonies at the October 11 wedding at Pen Ryn Mansion in Bensalem, Pa.
The bride, a graduate of North Brunswick High School, earned a bachelor of arts degree from Rutgers University, as well as an associates degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She works in New York as a merchandiser for a Liz Claiborne designer, Dana Buchman.
The groom, a graduate of North Hunterdon High School, earned a bachelor of arts degree from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, N.C. He works at Yellow Book USA in Millburn, where he was recently promoted to sales recruiting and training manager.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and recently purchased a home in Hoboken, where they currently reside.
Engagement
Alexander Obe and Stephanie Shaffer
Shaffer-Obe. Stephanie Lynn Shaffer, daughter of Mr. and Dr. William Shaffer of Skillman, to Alexander Obe, son of Mrs. Christie Obe of Hempstead, New York.
Ms. Shaffer is a graduate of The Hun School of Princeton and received a bachelor of science in education from Bucknell University. She is currently teaching first grade in Montgomery Township and pursuing a master's of education in reading.
Mr. Obe is also a graduate of Bucknell University, with a bachelor of arts in Psychology. He is currently a general manager with Town Sports International.
An August wedding is planned in Princeton.
