My grandmothers house, she would let us bang on pots and pans. If you stopped banging, you could hear the other neighbors banging on pots and pans. Doug: We were both Peace Corps volunteers in Kenya. We watched the soup cook (we didnt have TV) and went to bed by 9 p.m. It wasnt a big deal.
