NO PROBLEMS HERE: Princeton Engine Co. #1, Mercer Engine Co. #3, and Princeton Hook & Ladder all responded to a feared gas leak at Drumthwacket, the governor's mansion, on Stockton Street. After a thorough on-site inspection, it was determined that the gas valve in question was functioning properly and ruled safe by Chief Pat McAvenia (in silver hat). No residents were evacuated and no injuries were reported.

Trash pick-up in the Borough has been "modest and spotty" after the announcement of the Waste Management, Inc. strike on Monday, according to Bob Bruschi, Borough administrator.
