Better water drainage in the Harrys Brook neighborhood should result from the installation last week of six sections of concrete, with a single large opening, on Braeburn Drive. The new construction replaces the 50-year old corrugated culvert with two small openings that failed to contain floodwaters last summer. Construction Administrator Bob Killian reported that Braeburn Drive, which has been closed since August, will temporarily reopen in three or four weeks. Since cold weather precludes paving at this time, sidewalks and curbing will be installed in early spring.
