Shanefield-Buckley. Alison Bixby Shanefield, daughter of Elizabeth Shanefield and Dr. Daniel Shanefield of Honolulu, Hawaii, formerly of Princeton, to John Joseph Buckley Jr., son of Dolores Buckley of Brooklyn Park, Minn. and the late Dr. John J. Buckley Sr., on July 14 in the Garden Gazebo at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel.
Born and raised in Princeton, the bride graduated with the Class of 1985 from Princeton High School, and graduated with a BA from Haverford College and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, N.Y. She resided in New York City for ten years before moving to Chicago in 1999, where she is a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and an artist and freelance photographer. The bride's parents lived in Princeton for nearly four decades and recently retired to Honolulu.
Mr. Buckley is Manager of Packaging Automation for Pactiv Corporation in Lake Forest, Ill. and a triathlete and marathon runner in Chicago. He graduated with a B.S. from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Villanova University. The bride's family attended a dinner reception at Bali By the Sea restaurant. A reception is planned for November 10 in Chicago.
Maher-Nini. Meg Maher, daughter of Howard and Lynn Maher of Princeton, to Dana Nini, son of Sylvia Nini of Lawrenceville and the late Anthony Nini. The ceremony took place at the bride's parent's home in Princeton, on May 26 and the couple honeymooned in Sardinia.
The bride attended Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, graduated from Princeton High School and received bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Nini attended St. Paul's Elementary School, The Lawrenceville School, and Emory University.
