Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“Where are some of your favorite places to walk in Princeton?”

Sue: "I like to walk from Cedar Lane to the Bread Company, where we get something for lunch — it’s a great walk. I like to walk to the shopping center, the library, anywhere in town. It’s wonderful." Bert adds, "I really like the tow path.”

Sue and Bert Seisman, Princeton

“I love pretty much everything about town, especially Hines Plaza. It is wonderful there. I hang out there a lot with friends. Walking around town with ice cream is great — the campus is beautiful.”

Julia Pfaar, Princeton

“Our favorite place to walk is definitely the campus, where the tigers are, and Palmer Square.”

Sarah Walters, with Lucas, Princeton

“I love to walk around the gardens (at the faculty club on campus) and the fountain (Woodrow Wilson School).”

Natalie Brown, Stockton

“I love to walk around the university — it’s my favorite place. I love the energy there, the beauty there, the buildings, the trees. I feel the spirits of Einstein and all the famous physicists and intellectuals who were there. I love to walk around Carnegie Lake and the tow path and to see the rowers, and also Palmer Square.”

Eleanor Cruser, California, born and raised in Princeton
